Sherbourne Common Declared a "sign of what's to come" in National Post

The Municipal Infrastructure Group’s use of daylighting at
Sherbourne Commons has set the standard for future efforts to restore Toronto's underground waterways. According to National Post author Vanessa Farquharson, this reconditioning
design is an indication that "Toronto’s approach to managing both its natural
and constructed waterways is shifting.”
Michael Cook, author of Vanishing Point, believes in the
benefit of unearthing hidden waterways by saying that "‘We have spent a lot of money
channeling water down dark holes, never to be seen again; Sherbourne
Common…brings it back up for us to see.’”
