TMIG is an equal opportunity employer and wishes to promote fair hiring practices of students, engineers and administrative staff in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code.

If you are interested in a position with TMIG, please read our Hiring Guidelines below. All qualified candidates are encouraged to submit their resume.

  1. We review your resume and assess your skills and experience based on the position you're applying for.
  2. If you meet the required qualifications, we'll put your name on a shortlist.
  3. We'll then conduct a brief phone interview with you to confirm that you're a suitable candidate for the job. If not, we'll keep your resume on file for three months and will check it when other job opportunities become available.
  4. You may be asked to complete a questionnaire that relates to the position you're applying for. If, for example, you're applying for a CAD position, the questionnaire will try to assess your level of proficiency in some of the software we use at TMIG such as Civil 3D, AutoCad or Microstation.
  5. You may also be asked to answer a questionnaire to assess whether your characteristics, potential and motivation make you the right fit for the role.
  6. The next step is an in-person interview with us — the panel may include the Manager of the position you're applying for, and a member of our Human Resources team. This is our chance to get to know you better, and your chance to learn more about us and your potential role with us.
  7. Prior to TMIG making a final offer, we will ask you to complete a consent form which will request that you provide us with 3 references from your previous place of employment.  The references should include people that you reported to such as your direct manager or direct supervisor.
  8. We'll make a decision and, if you're successful, we'll extend a written offer. The offer is conditional upon you signing our Confidentiality Agreement.
